Privacy policy
SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
As you engage in a transaction with our store, we will collect your personal information, including your name, address, and email address, to facilitate the buying and selling process.
In addition, we automatically gather your computer's internet protocol (IP) address when you browse our store. This helps us gain insights into your browser and operating system.
If you grant us permission, we may also send you email communications regarding our store, such as information about new products and updates.
Â
SECTION 2 - CONSENT
How do we obtain your consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery, or return a purchase, we assume that you consent to us collecting and using that information for that particular purpose only.
If we request your personal information for a secondary reason, such as marketing, we will either directly ask for your expressed consent or provide you with the opportunity to decline.
How can you withdraw your consent?
If you change your mind after opting in, you can withdraw your consent for us to contact you or for us to continue collecting, using, or disclosing your information at any time by emailing us at apexcultureco@gmail.com.
Â
SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE
We may be compelled to disclose your personal information if it is required by law or if you violate our Terms of Service.
Â
SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our online store is powered by Shopify.com, which provides us with the e-commerce platform to sell our products and services to you.
Your personal data is securely stored on Shopify's servers, databases, and the general Shopify application. Shopify uses a firewall to protect your information on their secure servers.
Payment information:
If you opt to pay using a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify stores your credit card data. This information is encrypted in accordance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) regulations. Your purchase transaction data is only stored for the time necessary to complete the transaction, after which it is deleted.
All direct payment gateways comply with the requirements of PCI-DSS, which is overseen by the PCI Security Standards Council, a collaboration between major credit card companies such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure that your credit card information is handled securely by our store and its service providers.
For more information, you may also refer to Shopify's Terms of Service and Privacy Statement.
SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Generally, the third-party providers we use will only collect, use, and disclose your information as necessary to provide us with their services. However, some third-party providers, such as payment gateways and transaction processors, have their own privacy policies that govern how they handle the information we provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
We recommend that you review the privacy policies of these providers to understand how they handle your personal information. It's important to note that some providers may be located in different jurisdictions than you or us. If you choose to proceed with a transaction that involves a third-party provider's services, your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that provider or its facilities are located.
For example, if you're in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.
Once you leave our store's website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by our Privacy Policy or our website's Terms of Service.

Â
SECTION 6 - SECURITY
We take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to protect your personal information from inappropriate loss, misuse, access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
When you provide us with your credit card information, we encrypt it using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and store it with AES-256 encryption. We adhere to all PCI-DSS requirements and implement generally accepted industry standards. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
